CGEE Featured in Marine Education Journal
John Shepard and Kris Bennett, part of Hamline University’s Center for Global Environmental Education (CGEE), are featured in a special edition of Current: The Journal of Marine Education focused on the Southern Association of Marine Educators. Shepard, an associate professor and assistant director of CGEE, and Bennett, the K-12 resources director, were part of the CGEE team that produced Waters to the Sea™ Gulf Coast Adventure.

Serena King Speaks at ICRG Conference
Psychology Professor Serena King gave an invited talk at the International Center for Responsible Gambling (ICRG) Conference on Gambling and Addiction in Las Vegas in October. She spoke on the panel “Understanding Gambling Behaviors and Risk among Emerging Adults: What Strategies Can Help Promote RG and Reduce Harms?” alongside Drs. Derevensky of McGill University and Michelle Malkin of Eastern Carolina University.

King Named to Scientific Oversight Committee

General Assembly Brain Capital Alliance Better Gambling Forum on the significance of funding and research structures to support scientific work on gambling with co-panelists Drs.
